A Snarky Tom Hardy on Playng Incestuous Gay Twin Lovers Ronnie and Reggie Kray

As I reported here when we first took a look the gay twin lover — and gangsters — Ronnie and Reggie Kray, a major motion picture version on their story is about to come to life starring British actor Tom Hardy.

Tom Hardy, the brutish Brit, made headlines back in 2008 when he said this during an interview when Attitude magazine asked if he had ever had sex with men:

As a boy? Of course I have. I’m an actor for fuck’s sake. I’m an artist. I’ve played with everything and everyone. But I’m not into men sexually. I love the form and the physicality but the gay sex bit does nothing for me. In the same way as a wet vagina would turn someone else into a lemon-sucking freak. To me it just doesn’t compute now I’m into my 30s and it doesn’t do it for me and I’m done experimenting.

Though Hardy’s reps say the comments were taken out of context, recently uncovered images from Tom’s “ancient” MySpace account, Hardy had this to say: “I’ve got no shame about my MySpace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants, which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat.”

While Hardy married the British actress Charlotte Riley in the south of France last July 4th, on the subject of his sexuality, Defamer adds “It’s pretty rare to see a public figure, even an in-demand Hollywood actor, intellectually regress in this manner.”

When a reporter from Canadian LGBT website DailyExtra questioned Hardy about his sexuality during an hour long recent press junket at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting “Legend,” the moment was called “cringe-worthy”

Well, Hardy har har – or not.

“Legend” opens in the US on October 2, 2015.
