Police Academy Gangbang Star Charged With Murder
Josh Logan, former Jet Set Exclusive and ersatz lawman, was arrested in Florida yesterday on suspicion of murder. And yes — before you ask — he was gay for pay.
Logan (known to his mother as John Snavely) is charged with murdering Sam Del Brocco, a closeted gay businessman, who may have picked up Logan/Snavely as an escort. Nothing is known, but Queerty is happy to speculate.
Authorities are still searching for a motive, though they believe Snavely may have stabbed Del Brocco over money.
Though he was married for over 30 years to his wife Jan Shaffer, detectives discovered that Del Brocco possibly led a secret life while out of town in his role as president and ceo of PCI Communications in Washington, D.C., as well as at his beach condo in Pompano Beach. Hours before he was murdered on September 11, 2010, investigators believe Del Brocco stopped in at one or two gay bars, where he may have picked up Snavely. Del Brocco’s bloody corpse was found a day later in his condo’s master bedroom.
It sounds as if everyone’s soft-shoeing around the idea that this Sam Del Brocco picked up this John Snavely, aka Josh Logan aka Johnny Champ for, ostensibly, some gay shit, and Snavely cum Logan cum Champ — after leaving his “physical evidence” all over the place — killed Del Brocco for stiffing him. But that is, of course, speculation, so we’re moving on.
Of course, this doesn’t ask the real questions: was Topher DiMaggio ever in danger? Should Topher DiMaggio be worried that gay-for-payer Paddy O’Brien will turn out to be a murderer? Is Josh Logan just method acting in order to get cast in Jet Set’s Orange is the New Black: An XXX Parody? Will Josh Logan’s mugshot turn out as good as these?

There are risks with picking up rentboys, if this was the case. You never know if they’re going to show up and rob you, or take the money up front and just leave, or assault/ murder you because they didn’t want to do something that you want to do and the situation becomes heated very fast or there is a disagreement over money. I’ve been in situations where I felt as an older gay man, the younger more powerful rentboy could easily have taken advantage of the situation in a bad way. And lets face it, most rentboys, whether gay or gay for pay, have addiction problems and could very well be desparate and irrational entering into the encounter, resulting in criminal behaviour.

Well, let’s remember he’s only charged with the crime. Not fair to speculate. And that applies to all people accused by the police, porn stars or no.

Maybe he really is “gay for pay” (as if such a thing truly exists). But one thing’s for sure–his eyebrows aren’t.
On the other hand, maybe this is proof positive that hanging around Topher “Eyebrows” DiMaggio is far riskier than anyone has ever realized.

It seems like gay for pay or outside of porn guys who claim to be straight yet will gay escort or be hanging out with only gay men is that they are only in it for financial gain which can be in the form of money, drugs, gifts, whatever and they eventually figure out that there are closeted or lonely men who out there seeking companionship from guys like them and they get used to being able to manipulate and swindle these men. But when one of those men finally calls them on it they are so taken aback by someone questioning their motives that they fly into a rage and the result is cases like this. It’s as if they become so addicted to being the sought after prize for these men who use their services that it becomes incredulous for someone to question them at all.
