Ty Roderick Is Spending The Rest Of His Summer In A Las Vegas Jail

Ty Roderick’s wardrobe for the next 36 days will be orange. What did he do? What will happen next?

“As some of you may know, Ty Roderick has found himself in a bit of trouble. He’s doing 40 days in a Las Vegas jail after a night of partying brought him to the attention of the police. It turns out he had a Bench Warrant from a similar incident that took place four years ago and officials decided it was time to pay the piper. I’ve been talking to him and he’s doing okay. He spends a lot of time working out and he’s working hard at keeping out of trouble. Hard to do when all there is to do is drink way too much coffee and then try and work off all the extra energy that’s piling up. He knows that the predicament he’s in is his own fault, but he’s certainly not the first good man to make a bad decision and he won’t be the last.

We have faith that he’s going to come out of this just fine, but there is another problem. As he had no contingency plans in place, when he gets out on September 6th, he will have no money and nowhere to live. The friend he had been staying with is no longer an option and he’s very worried about where he’s going to go and what he’s going to do.

The first thing he wants to be able to do is get back home to Los Angeles and find somewhere to live. He’s a proud man and was reluctant to let us do this for him, but we’ve gotten so many messages from people who are worried and have said they’d like to offer him a hand so we convinced him to turn to his fans for a little help. You’ve all been so kind and we’ve passed on all the messages to him and he’s a little overwhelmed by it all.

So, this is what we are asking for. Got 20 bucks to spare? $10? $5? Then please consider a donation to the “Ty Roderick’s starting over” fund. There are over 25,000 people following him on Twitter. If even a quarter of you helped him out he’d be set. He’s not asking for a lot, and he doesn’t want anyone feeling bad if they can’t help out. He understands all too well that sometimes all people have to offer is their love and best wishes and that helps too.”

 

Roderick was born in Maine. He married his high school girlfriend Brittany at an early age and fathered two girls. Ty has also worked under the name Antonio Giovanni and Anthony Aceto.
