Sad news. Tanner Hayes (real name Tony Shantie), star of Jarhead, How the West Was Hung and Falcon’s Violation passed away Sunday in Boise, Idaho from lymphoma. He was 40.

my gay friend died from lymphoma as well. he got it when he had full-blown aids and he was in so much pain until very his last breath. i hope tanner/tony had undergone a much lesser painful ordeal. rest in peace guys. no more tears. no more pains.
Desmond, I just want to say; I know you were bless to have him as a friend as well as he was bless to have you. Thank you for sharing the life of your friend with me. He’s not in pain anymore and have found peace, happiness, and love in the arms of our Savior. As we all will someday.
My condolences go out to the family and friends of Tony Shantie. May God smile down on you and let you reflex on his life to see the joy, the smiles,and the hope that he had while he was with us. Don’t see this as a passing of a love one, but a journey of a friend who has gone before us to help prepare a place for the ones that he left behind. What we say about what a person is; is nothing compared to what God says we are. We are all his children. He loves us all.
This is super sad news, i think tanner (tony) was the one true porn star that i crushed on the most, i own all his movies and he was a great performer every time.
He will be missed, condolences to his friends and family. R.I.P.

Had the unique opportunity top become friends with this great person. You have no idea what a great guy he was in person. He told me one of several weekends we spent together, that he was being courted for a comeback and mega $$$ to do it, but sadly for you all, I talked him into not doing it. I will always miss this dude, but his inner and outter beauty will be infamous. Go Angel, Go, …….
