Last night I went to a movie premier for Raging Stallion’s “A Porn Star Is Born“. It started out with a cocktail party at a hotel off Union Square, and then moved to a notorious strip club, the Nob Hill Theater. My photos from the party can be seen at LavenderLounge.com

Michael Soldier sang his new song from the movie, “Porn Is The New Black“, (his “Evergreen”) with Michael Brandon and Shane Rollins doing a sex show in the background. The movie is the gay porn version of the “A Star Is Born”, with Shane Rollins playing the role of the innocent newcomer first portrayed in the 30′s by Janet Gaynor, then Judy Garland and finally Barbra Streisand. With the spirits of Judy, Barbra and Janet connected, you couldn’t ask for a property with more gay appeal! Micheal Soldier plays the role of the big star who’s status is slipping due to bad choices and too much drinking. The role was previously played by Frederick March, then James Mason and later, Kris Kristoferson. It features a big scene at the GayVN Awards with over 150 extras!

After the screening, the regular Nob Hill dancers hit the stage. They were quite well-rehearsed and impressive. I got 3 lap dances – two from local strippers and one from Robert Balint, former Falcon exclusive.

Shane Rollins(r) is quite a find. He started out as a dancer at Nob Hill, then got swept up by Raging Stallion. I am so glad I finally got to meet him, he is adorable!
