I came across a site called PrisonStuds.com in the paper the other day. It seems an ex-con identified only as Steven has captured a new amateur fetish — guys who’ve been on the receiving end of the justice system’s long hard one. It’s part of a project to get ex-cons a decent income following their release: a noble cause, no doubt. According to “Steve,” the straight-but-not-narrow brain behind the brawn:

“These guys have a lot on the line and are hesitant to do stuff on video. You know, most ex-cons go back — it’s a matter of time. And homosexuality isn’t accepted in prison. A lot of guys do it, especially with long prison sentences, but for everyone to know — you have to be a real badass. So a lot of these guys just don’t want people to know.” (“Pros and Cons,” San Francisco Chronicle)

Hmmm. Sort of. I checked it out the site and was suprised to see that, next to the typically rugged felons, a few old industry favorites are volunteering to drop the soap, like Shane Rollins and Troy Punk. While I can’t vouch for “Viking” Troy Punk’s claimed California and Canadian prison stints, I can in good conscience confirm that for Shane Rollin has been behind bars — in Hot House‘s Justice and Mustang’s Lockdown.

On a side note, you can also buy used clothes on the site including, curiously enough, wifebeaters. I’m surprised Mark Dalton isn’t on the site…
