The once-boyish, once-mohawked Owen Hawk has a new look and new attitude to go with his designation as NakedSword.com’s NakedSwordsman 2006. Think of it as Owen Hawk 2.0.

Anytime you are recognized by your peers for excellence it is extremely gratifying. 2005 was such an exciting and dramatic year — Matt [Von Fistenberg] and were working tirelessly to build Dark Alley Media from the ground up, and I am very proud not only of the work that we did together but also of the movies that I was involved with for other studios. 2006 is already off to an equally promising start, and I hope only that I am able to continue developing as a performer and now also as a producer. NakedSword is an amazing operation whom I am indebted to for this recognition and for their continued support of Dark Alley Media.”

Hot Damn! I live in Washington, DC, and remember when Owen would dance at Secrets – he was smokin’ then and is smokin’ still. I saw him on the Metro Line once and about fainted. Definitely deserving of this award (and more to come, I am sure)!
