O’Reilly’s War on “Gay Porn Day” Grows

Momentum on the non-story about San Francisco’s “Gay Porn Day” is growing, with the Associated Press running a story about it today, complete with quote from an outraged minister.
Here’s the high-larious original clip I pulled these screencaps from, (complete with images he may have gently “borrowed” from this post) where Bill calls San Francisco a “modern day Sodom and Gomorrah” (a fact which we San Franciscans take tremendous pride in.)
I hope this all translates into lots and lots of DVD sales for COLT.

I have to admit that as a gay man, I was bothered by the fact that a day would actually be named “Colt Day”–even in San Francisco. It’s not that I have something personal against the company; I just think that is seriously crossing the line. However, Bill O’Reilly is obviously so passionate about this topic because of the fact that it’s specifically GAY porn in question. If they were honoring Playboy, it’s quite likely that he wouldn’t even make a statement about it. And of course, it’s always interesting to see Bill whine about the new things that he finds offensive in the world when his interviewing/debating style is the most offensive one I have ever seen.

What “line” is being crossed? Are you referring to the general “tackiness” of porn or are you suggesting that the gay community has to appear as mainstream as possible in order to make any political/ civil inroads?
This isn’t adversarial; I’m really asking.

Of course, Bill has it wrong again. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorroh because the cities were full of wealthy, overfed people who didn’t help their fellow men who weren’t as well off. Looks like Bush better evacuate the White House before Laura becomes a salt lick for Cheney!

Echoing riddlemethis, I’d like to know what line Garret thinks SF crossed in honoring Colt. Not that I was invited to the soireé or have any conection to the company; I’m curious as to why we can honor just about any entity, but not a company that seems to treat their employees well, produces a product that is obviously in demand, and gives back to the community.
Okay. I’ve seriously never laughed at ol’ Bill O’rly as hard as just now. That’s gotta be the friggin’ funniest, most idiotic news coverage I have EVER seen. Let’s forget about the men and women dying for this country out there… for God’s sake, we must first think of the GAY PORN! *dies and is dead*
