yeah they were something, but can’t we let them rest in peace ? one was still alive in Hilo running a travel agency, but one did pass.
Well, the thng about any kind of celebrity is that the imagery lives on, even after you pass, and these two are legendary in the gay porn world. They just seemed to love what they were doing, and seemed to go in to it with such fervor that it is unimaginable to me they will ever be forgotten. Their sexual exploits o film will simply be enjoyable forever, no matter how dated the films seem, these two simply shine.
There are few men in gay porn today who have the kind of visible enjoyment that Leo Ford seemed to have from the sex he was having. Maybe the modern porn world could learn a thing or two from his example.

Leo Ford actually came up to me at a bus stop (with a guy waiting for the response) acting like he was dumb (couldn’t talk that is), that he needed food. I pointed out the local soup kitchen and he wrote down it was closed. I almost drew him a map to where an apple tree was behind a barbed wire fence as response. Then, after acting like he was dumb, he went back and started talking to this guy sitting in the shelter at the bus stop. And he started the whole highly disturbing pretentious act by beckoning shhhhhhhh with his lips. And THAT is supposed to be a legend!?
According to Rame.net, they both died in 1991, Leo from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, Lance from AIDS. I personally am happy for them to be frozen in 1983 celluloid. Their scene upstairs in the A-frame cabin in Leo and Lance is one of the sexiest ever in gay porn. I saw Leo once at the Follies at the Unicorn Theatre in NYC, about 1983. This was in a long-ago era when the performers would walk through the audience, who would freely suck and fondle the stars. If I would describe Leo Ford in one word it would be “Abrasive.” Further more, I feel violated I ever was interested in his work.
