The original Movie is not that great.
My advice is go rent Querelle and give this a miss, Querelle is much more erotic and engaging than this boring shit will ever be. David Taylor is horrible and mind numbingly lacklustre, he simply can not simulate gay sex in anyway whatsoever, and to prove it’s not just about being straight sorry but Tristan Jaxx is so boring to watch, he looks totally disengaged and unanimated any straight actor. And Logan McCree’s tattoos are too distracting and ugly.
