Boxcover Art: Fuck Me Gently With A … Chainsaw?
Titan‘s never been a studio to borrow heavily from Hollywood, and rarely will you find anything as garish as American Booty or Da Vinci Load lurking under its bed (one notable recent exception, Telescope, was loosely inspired by Body Double … but more in theme than plot).
When the boxcover for Titan’s Chainsaw came across my desk, I had to wonder. With Tony Buff gripping a murder weapon, it looks at first like Titan has indulged their gorno dark side (e.g, Folsom Filth or FEAR) except … he’s smiling. It’s more hide-the-salami than hatchet face. I’m not even sure that most porn stars should get car keys, let alone weapons of mass destruction, but Buff knows his way around hardware. I’ll just sit back and watch.

Not sure what it means, but the phallic positioning of the blade is certainly eye-catching.
