It seems strange that with the same breath Brent’s fans endow him with superhuman powers, yet just over a year ago – when HE started this mess – they say he was but a naive and ignorant child.
As I understand it, on 16 July 2005 he signed a contract to perform 6 scenes for Cobra (of which 3 had already been completed) and received a $20,000 car package for doing so.
Less than a month later he drove off with the car, without completing any of the remainining 3 scenes, to set up his own company to compete against Cobra.
How many brain cells or experience of life does one need to know you don’t take the money and run. And of course he was either just under 19(per Brent) or 20(per Cobra) and had been with Cobra for 18 months already, at the time of signing. Not the 17 y/o victim he loves to portray.
Cobra may be total bastards, but why then after 18 months did he sign a second contract and why didn’t he just leave the car and walk away with his dignity intact?
Oh, and my superhuman powers for knowing all this is I read both sets of public court papers to ascertain the AGREED facts rather than the Brent or Cobra propaganda.
